Circuit Design and Development Center

With a well-equipped and advanced complete circuit design and development environment, the Design and Test Center has been put into formal operation following the completion of initial set-up. Thus, the center is qualified to satisfy such design requirements as integrated circuit design and PCB design, including analog circuit, digital circuit, mixed-signal circuit, FPGA design and so on. The design can meet the requirements up to million gates.

This Center features board level designing, and it can offer full support to PBC designing. It is well-staffed with a team of professionals who are expert in offering relevant technical services and consultation to customers.

The Center will also provide a highly efficient and flexible working environment. The circuit design platform consists software, hardware and high-speed intranet. The design network is physically separate from the office network. The Center can provide software and hardware environments for a R & D team of up to twenty-five persons designing at the same time. It is based on SOND (Service On Demand) technology, which can provide various working environments, shifting the working environment as required by the customers. 1. This Center provides an up-to-date integrated circuit EDA design environment. It includes a highly configured UNIX server and Sun workstation, which can support high level EDA designing environments such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, and other well-known EDA providers. 2. The Center adopts the prevailing international advanced network software management. The software can work at the local workstation placed at the customers’ offices, while the Center can execute certification management intensively through the network. In this way confidentiality can be highly ensured. 3. The EDA design and development center offers its services to enterprises, institutions and individual customers. The customers can make a formal written application and the Center can arrange the design workstation and supplementary working environment accordingly for a modest management fee. For long-term or short-term users of big projects, the Center can provide an attractive package of plans specifically tailored for those users’ needs.
