Institute Milestones

- In December 2004, Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute was founded upon approval of Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. - On April 30, 2005, protocol on Joint Establishment of Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute was signed between the People’s Government of Dongguan Municipality and CAS. - On July 9, 2005, the first meeting of the Board of Directors of Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute was convened. - On October 8, 2005, Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute moved into the 8000-sqm new office building. - October 13, 2005, Ma Desong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Science & Technology of the People’s Republic of China inspected Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute. - October 2005, a 400-sqm electronic achievement and patent show room in Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute was built and put into operation. - On November 4, 2005, leaders from Dongguan Municipal Government paid a visit to Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute. - November 21, 2005, the second meeting of the Board of Directors of Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute was convened. - On November 22, 2005, Guangdong Electronics Industry Institute held its official opening ceremony.
