Scope and Method of Cooperation

* Joint Efforts to Establish Centers. The Institute aims to establish nine R&D Centers. It will cooperate as needed with other entities and individuals that have a strong foundation in capital and technology, ensuring sustained development. Each Center will be an independent business unit, offering such services as project research, technical support and training. The Center’s investors will share in profits according to the amount of their investments. This is an optimal set-up for scientific research enterprises.

* Resource Lease Facility resources: By joining the strength of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and other advantages of sophisticated research centers worldwide, these nine Centers combine the efforts of experts and academicians and are suitable for development of various products at different phases. All the hardware and software resources are of international level and can be leased to external units. Talent resources: There is no doubt that in today’s R&D there needs to be a fast pace for the development cycle yet there is a shortage of technical experts. The Institute will provide high-tech experts and professionals to offer practical R&D services to meet the customers’ specific needs. We sincerely invite customers to come to our center to carry out high-efficiency and high-quality product research and development with the help of our experts and professionals.

* Contracted R&D Services Based on strong technological strength and resource support from the CAS, many researchers and international-level facilities and environments, the Institute can offer contracted services in research and development. Its established quality test and verification system is a guarantee of high-efficiency, high-quality and exemplary services.

*R&D Joint Development Based on customer needs, the Institute will work with the customer to develop electronic products, as well as technical solutions concerning software and hardware. Adhering to the motto of Openness, Integration and Innovation, we look forward to combining resources and advanced technologies from different sources in order to cultivate a brand name in the electronic industry.

* Standardization Testing The Institute has joined forces with domestic testing authorities to set up a research and testing center to ensure the quality standard of electronic products. Its service covers safety testing, performance testing and other relevant import and export tests and inspections in order to help enterprises to obtain relevant certifications. In addition, it will offer training courses in testing skills, inspection methods and quality control, etc., to enhance the enterprises’ competitiveness in management and quality.

* Intellectual Property The Institute will offer consulting services concerning IP strategy to assist the companies to establish IP management systems and avoid IP-related disputes. Analyzing the patents in the same field, it will follow up technical achievements and industrial trends, and carry on research activities.
